Sir Francis Drake was a British adventure television series starring Terence Morgan as Sir Francis Drake, commander of the sailing ship the Golden Hind. As well as battles at sea, sword fights, the series also deals with intrigue at Elizabeth's court, often caused by Spaniard, Mendoza.

Born in a protestant commoner family under fanatically Catholic queen Mary Tudor, Francis had a miserable youth without prospects. The cloth trade breakdown drove him to see, where literacy helped him rise to captain. Under protestant queen Elisabeth I, he was 'discretely' chartered to plunder the American colonial treasures, lifeline of the Habsburg anti-protestant crusader king Philip II of Spain, Mary's vindictive widower. Consorting with runaway slaves, he managed to raid the Panama caravan to load gold and silver. When Philip prepared a Great Armada to invade, crippled by lack of canon standardization, Drake advised a new, mobile fleet type and promised to help finance it. He succeeded by raiding the Spanish fleet in South America via the surprising Magelhaes route, but had to abandon part of the rich prize when reef-wrecked in Insulind after failing to find the legendary Northwest passage.

Sir! No Sir! is a documentary film about the anti-war movement within the ranks of the United States Military during the Vietnam War. It consists in part of interviews with Vietnam veterans explaining the reasons they protested the war or even defected. The film tells the story of how, from the very start of the war, there was resentment within the ranks over the difference between the conflict in Vietnam and the "good wars" that their fathers had fought. Over time, it became apparent that so many were opposed to the war that they could speak of a movement.

Sir Sir Sarla explores the complexities of love through three interconnected lives. University students Sarla and Phanidhar share a deep affection for their professor, Palekar, but in very different ways. Sarla is romantically in love with him and dreams of a future together, while Phanidhar's feelings are a conflicted mix of admiration, resentment, and blame. He believes the professor's decision to distance Sarla and encourage her marriage to Keshav has left all their lives unfulfilled. As Sarla finds herself neglected in her marriage, old wounds resurface, leading to a series of confrontations that leave the audience questioning whether Professor Palekar's choices were truly the right ones.
